Preliminary Nations League Rosters Announced

Mexico (and the rest of CONCACAF) have released their preliminary rosters for the Nations League….. It is 60 players long and has pretty much every Mexican player one can name.

This 60 man list will be cut to 23 by March 10th. So.. are there any surprises? Not really. I can only really think of 1 “Snub” and that would be Marcelo Flores. But even that is kind of a stretch. With both tournaments kicking off on the same day, Mexico will not have access to: Obed Vargas (Seattle), Jose Ramirez (Leon), Bryan Gonzalez (Pachuca), Elias Montiel (Pachuca), Carlos Moreno (Pachuca), Gerardo Arteaga (Monterrey), Jordi Cortizo (Monterrey), Fidel Ambriz (Monterrey), German Berterame (Monterrey), Alfonso Alvarado (Monterrey), and Victor Guzman (Monterrey). Could those absences play a role in roster selection for Nations League? They might
