The Weekend is here and the Eredivisie is back from its winter break.
SATURDAY
Watford v Charlton Athletic- 9:000AM– Layun had an average game last week in his Watford debut. He played the full 90 and played both Wingback positions. It will be interesting to see if the coach calls his number again this weekend.
Real Sociedad v Rayo Vallecano-9:00AM– Vela is back. Moyes is suspended. Aquino is stuck in neutral. Look below for Vela’s midweek explosion against Villarreal.
PSV v Vitesse-1:45PM– Guardado had a career revitalizing year in 2014. 2015 will have an impact on where he be playing his club soccer in the years to come.
Porto v Penafiel-2:15PM– Herrera’s team is looking to make noise in the Champions League and win their domestic league. The transfer windows are always tricky for a selling club like Porto. If the team can keep its key players, a deep run in CL is not out of the question. Below is Herrera’s assist last weekend.
Espanyol v Celta Vigo- 3:00PM– The clock is ticking on Hector Moreno’s time at cash strapped Espanyol. Expect a few bids for his services in the coming weeks.
Villarreal v Athletic Bilbao- 3:00PM– Gio finally got his breakthrough we have all been waiting for. While, Jona continues with his career year.

SUNDAY
Real Madrid v Getafe- 5:00AM– Chicharito has played 11 minutes for RM in 2015. He will need to make a move in the summer to have more playing time. While I agree MLS should not be his next stop, he can’t be content at another big club with few minutes.
Twente v Feyenoord- 7:30AM– Tecatito has developed quicker than most of us thought he would. He will need to keep improving in order to get looks in Mexico’s crowded midfield.
Atletico Madrid v Granada- 10:00AM– Fernando Torres coming back to Atletico likely means Jimenez will see the bench more than he has already.
Hellas Verona v Juventus- 1:45PM– Rafa is coming off getting stomped 6-1 in midweek versus the very same Juventus in a Cup game. Hopefully, he can lead his defense into a better showing during the weekend.
Malaga v Sevilla- 2:00PM– Ochoa will not start. Nothing to see here until he gets a move out of Malaga.
