When You Want To Transfer But Cant
The transfer window will be closing in about 72 hours, and it seems the few Mexicans expected to move might just end up in their same spots. Between deadline on Monday and today, there are games to play. See below for a schedule, as I try to focus on games and not Mexico’s newest kits.

What has Adidas done to Mexico’s kits? If there is one thing I have always associated with Mexico, it is their green kits. The “away” jersey has gone through many different variations but that is what it is for. Although I am generally not concerned with their away kits, I admit Adidas hit it out of the park with the 2010 WC away kit. Adidas even said Mexico’s black kit at 2010 WC was their best seller. But the home kit is something that should not be experimented with.
I was hoping those leaks last week were training tops but I was wrong…

Cup Update
Mixed bag for Mexicans in the Copa Del Rey quarterfinals and a less mixed, more terrible day in Portugal. Another group of Copa Del Rey games featuring Mexican national team players took place this Wednesday. Here is Joshua Picazo’s recap of the day that was.
